Wordle
I wanted to play with Wordle a couple weeks ago, but couldn’t until my laptop was updated to Leopard. Now that I’m updated, I am free to play. This is my first creation, and I’m thinking it would make a neat background for my class website. What a cool way for kids to create a very visual rendering of their thoughts, interests, etc. Fun!

Thanks for sharing your Wordle design. It gave me an idea to go along with our 2008-2009 school theme, “See His Face.” I plan to create one using the students’ names, enlarge it, and make a silhouette of a face with the names forming the face. This will be placed on the bulletin board under the theme poster. I also like your idea of students using it to create a visual of their interests. This could be a “Getting to Know You” activity. My second graders could do this in small groups with the assistance of the teaching assistant or tutor. Thanks again for sharing.
